This summer, we welcome two vibrant summer students eager to engage in a variety of health and wellbeing activities offered by our Centre. Meet Pascale Lalonde (right), a motivated high school student who just completed grade 11 and is eager to work at the WNCHC this summer. With a strong interest in health sciences, and nursing as her future career choice, Pascale is excited to gain valuable experience in a professional healthcare setting. Known for her reliability and enthusiasm to learn, she eager to assist with administrative tasks alongside our reception team support the community health team with the delivery of community health programs. Outside school, she is involved in the Sturgeon Falls Figure Skating Club as a volunteer with skating camps, which have strengthened her interpersonal skills and passion for helping others. She looks forward to contributing to the WNCHC this summer. Welcome to our team Pascale!
Meet Nadine Courchesne (left), originally from Sturgeon Falls and currently in her second year studying Nursing at Laurentian University. Becoming an aunt has ignited a passion in her for newborns. Her aspiration is to work in the maternity ward one day, sharing special moments with new mothers. Nadine is a positive, creative, and humorous individual who enjoys helping others and embracing new learning opportunities. She is thrilled to be part of the WNCHC team this summer.
