The primary care program offers a wide range of services to registered clients. The program services include: prevention, diagnosis, management and treatment. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to primary care and our clinical team consists of:
- Physicians
- Nurse Practitioners
- Registered Nurses
- Registered Practical Nurses
- Case Manager
- Registered Dietitian
Our clinical team works together to coordinate the best possible care for your health needs. We encourage all clients to take charge of their health and actively participate in their care.
Primary care clients can now cancel their appointment with their physician or nurse practitioner or send them a private document. All they need is their health card number and birth date.
It’s quick and easy!

To receive health care services from the WNCHC, you must register with the Centre. Health services are available for people living in the West Nipissing area. Since our waitlist far exceeds our capacity, please be advised that we no longer accept new applications to become a patient of our primary care services until further notice.
WNCHC also offers a variety of community-based services and programs in health promotion and disease prevention, through education sessions, exercise and socialization groups. Participation in community activities is available to all residents of West Nipissing and not only registered clients. For more information on health promotion programming consult the “Community Health”.
